• Block Right – martial arts defensive block right
• Block Left – martial arts defensive block left
The dance starts with a “defense” posture, blocking “negatives”.
• Slice Right- martial arts counter right
• Slice Left – martial arts counter left
Remain defensive but counter to protect yourself.
• Back step right
• Back step left
Take a step back to re- access the situation. Look into your past before going forward. Learn from past challenges.

Cast away the negatives. Be done with fear. Look at the brightness or brightside.
• Draw your sword left to right then stand your ground

"Kore Kara" is a very popular Taiko piece. Many times ONDO dancers are asked to participate. Unfortunately the dance is not ONDO and is an actual performance dance with a "spin move." Simple dance, but does need practice to do it correctly. Making it more challenging is it's a "jump in dance" that requires timing...
